24th Panzer Division In Stalingrad

This diorama (1/35) of the Ill-fated division depicts the start of a skirmish in the midst of the factories of Stalingrad.

The model is a Tamiya of a SdKfz 251 that included 5 soliders. After assembling and painting them, the rest of the diorama was pieced together from clay, paint, pieces of balsa wood, thin metal pipes, and diorama snow. The process took weeks as every detail was handmade. My first diorama but hopefully not my last.
